Steam, hiss, splash and pop
saucers and spoons with a cup on top
Hot! It burns when you take a sip
swirly and whirly and sweet and bitter - drink it slowly, a tip
It spills - a stain! Leasing you a strain,
yet it helps reduce, the head pounding pain!
Fuel in, pen up, ready to write
blank page looms, empty and white
More fuel! More! Pawing at the machine
to release more steam, hiss and splash and the beloved coffee bean
